Sights and Sounds
In Sanguinet facilities include a supermarket, cafes, restaurants, market stalls and pharmacy. Close to the cottage are the Bordeaux wine regions of Medoc, and St Emillion, and the Great Sand Dune of Europe is at Pyla in France.
From the cottage the north coastal town of St Malo is about 350 miles, the nearest airports are Biarritz which 2 hours away, Bordeaux International Airport is 40 to 50 minutes away. All of the major motorways towards the coast have access to the channel ports, regular ferry crossings to Spain, and the South of England operate every day.
Car hire is available at most airports, we have used car hire Bordeaux Airport in the past mainly because its the closest airport, but they have great deals available too.
